Cheer On Your Favorite Team at the College Football Playoff National Championship

Are you ready for some football? The city of New Orleans will host the 2020 College Football Playoff National Championship on January 13th in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. Don’t miss your opportunity to be there next Monday!

The Fiesta Bowl Champion will face the Peach Bowl Champion for the overall title. The event will be the sixth national championship game in the new College Football Playoff format, which went into effect following the 2014 college football season. It will mark the 29th time that the city has hosted a college football national champion – the previous 28 played in the Allstate Sugar Bowl or the Allstate BCS Championship. Leading up to the game, various events will take place around New Orleans.

The Allstate Championship Tailgate Plaza will host the AT&T Playoff Playlist Live! concert series throughout the weekend at Woldenberg Park. Enjoy live concerts for FREE from H.E.R., Nas, Bastille, Max, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Megan Trainor, Judah & the Lion and Tim McGraw. In addition to music, fans can enjoy the ultimate tailgating experience in the adjacent Jax Brewery parking lot. For times and schedules, visit www.2020nola.com.

The Playoff Fan Central will be at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center Saturday, January 11th through Monday, January 13th. Enjoy 200,000 square feet of interactive experiences that are family-friendly and FREE. Games, clinics, pep rallies, live entertainment, autograph signings and more take place over the weekend. Learn about the history of college football and show your team spirit. A favorite activity is the field-goal kicking competition.

Media Day will take place at Xavier University's Convocation Center on Saturday, January 11th, 8:30 a.m.-11 a.m. Teams, players and coaches will be interviewed, and ESPN will broadcast it live. Media Day is open to the general public as well as media members, and it is free to attend. This is your chance to get up close and personal with your favorite team.

The game kicks off at the Superdome on Monday night at 7 p.m. following the national anthem from Louisiana native, Lauren Daigle. For tickets and more information about the weekend’s festivities, visit www.collegefootballplayoff.com.
