Willy Wonka is opening his marvelous and mysterious chocolate factory – to a lucky few. That includes Charlie Bucket, whose bland life is about to burst with color and confection beyond his wildest dreams. On Tuesday, February 11th, experience the wonders of Wonka during Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at Saenger Theatre!
Witness Charlie Bucket’s amazing joyride through a world of pure imagination alongside Veruca Salt, a spoiled rich girl; Augustus Gloop, a gluttonous kid who stuffs his face with sweets; Violet Beauregarde, a champion trophy gum chewer; and Mike Teavee, a kid who spends more time watching TV and playing video games than anything else. Most fascinating is the mysterious Willy Wonka who, in turn, had a troubled childhood and has a special grand prize at the end for one of the kids. Also, along the tour are Wonka's staff: the singing, working Oompa-Loompas.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is the perfect recipe for a delectable treat. The musical runs for approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, including an intermission. This show is recommended for guests 6 and older. Children under 4 years of age are not permitted at this show.
