Earth Day at the New Orleans Botanical Garden promises to be a great event! Celebrate the earth and learn how we can build a healthier relationship with our natural spaces. The event will have exhibitors, cooking demonstrations, and of course delicious food, wine and beer available for purchase.

This celebration promises guidance on leading a more environmentally responsible lifestyle; activities and crafts for kids and adults; live acoustic music by The Necessary Gentlemen, cooking demonstrations using local, healthy ingredients; free meditation classes and more. Food Trucks will serve food in compostable dishes. The public may bring their own refreshments. They are encouraged to bring food and drinks in reusable and/or recyclable containers to reduce landfill waste.

There is free parking available on Park streets and in the parking lot across from the entrance to the New Orleans Botanical Garden. We encourage visitors to ride their bike. Victory and Dreyfous will be closed before and during the event. Admission is free. For Further Information, reach out to Susan Capley, Education Director, at (504) 483-9473.

Community interaction is an important part of life, which is why Brookstone Park Apartments in Covington, Louisiana is urging you to join in the all of the excitement at this event! Don’t be shy—plenty of fun awaits in the greater neighborhood beyond our beautiful apartment community.
