The Friends of the Dew Drop presents Robin Barnes on Friday, November 30 from 6:30 – 9:00pm at the historic Dew Drop Social & Benevolent Jazz Hall in Old Mandeville.
Think Chaka Khan meets Ella Fitzgerald at the Dew Drop to sing just for you with a voice that is as powerful with a whisper as it is with a bellow. That is Robin Barnes, a contemporary jazz singer. Barnes captivates audiences with renditions of popular songs and contemporary classics.
Friends of the Dew Drop members will maintain a beverage center for a nominal fee and offer souvenir Dew Drop merchandise. The members of the First Free Mission Baptist Church next door will offer hearty, home-cooked meals for a nominal fee. There is free off-street parking nearby.
Admission for each concert is $10 at the door.
