Blues and BBQ—What More Could You Want on a Friday in October?

Nothing says NOLA like great music and great food. Enjoy them both at the 14th annual Crescent City Blues & BBQ Fest, October 18th thru 20th at Lafayette Square Park.

Presented by the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation, the Crescent City Blues & BBQ Fest features three days filled with live performances, a local art market and the best BBQ vendors in Crescent City. Each year, local artisans from across Louisiana showcase hand-crafted artworks, furnishings, apparel and more. Browse the art market with tunes of blues in the background.

Sing along, get your groove on or just use the tunes as a soundtrack to devouring BBQ – no matter how you choose to enjoy the performances, just know that you WILL. With two stages and over 10 performances, the good times are nonstop. Performers will include Brother Tyrone & the Mind Benders, Gregg Martinez & the Delta Kings, Lulu & the Broadsides, and many more.

The host, The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and Foundation, was founded upon the mission to sow the seeds of our unique culture for generations to come. The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and Foundation, Inc. promotes, preserves, perpetuates and encourages the music, culture, and heritage of communities in Louisiana through festivals, programs, and other cultural, educational, civic and economic activities.

Crescent City Blues & BBQ Festival is free and open to all. All that we ask is that you bring your appetite—and a few bucks to satisfy it! Are you ready to let the good times roll?

At Brookstone Park Apartments in Covington, Louisiana, we promote resident satisfaction with an array of incredible amenities—both inside and outside of your apartment. However, we understand your need for more social engagement with your greater community and encourage you to attend this event when it passes through our city!
