Indulge in the Finest Wine and Gourmet Cheese at Fête des Fromages

Calling all cheese and wine connoisseurs: the Inaugural Fête des Fromages is November 17 at the New Orleans Jazz Museum from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

For one day only, indulge in fine wines and artisan cheese from various parts of the world at the only cheese festival in the South. Hosted by the French American Chamber of Commerce, Gulf Coast, this fall festival will feature international, domestic and Louisiana cheese samples. Red, white, and rosé wine imports from Europe will be available for pairing along with craft beers, ciders and an assortment of waters.

Fest-goers can expect fine cheese, cocktails and wines from an array of local vendors such as the Petite Paris Market, Frencheeze and the Old New Orleans Rum Distillery. National vendors from California and New York will be in attendance as well. In addition to cheese samples, Fête des Fromages will also present Le Marché, an onsite retail shop. Guests will be able to purchase cheese, cheese boards, coolers and more.

Held on the grounds of the New Orleans Jazz Museum, formerly known as the Old U.S. Mint, Fête des Fromages will feature live chef demonstrations, Cheese 101 seminars and wine pairings with world-renowned cheese expert Liz Thorpe and French chef Alex Miles, local restaurants preparing delicious cheesy bites and a live music stage. We encourage everyone to attend this exiting festival!

If you feel like escaping Brookstone Park Apartments in Covington, Louisiana for the day, this event is a perfect opportunity to do just that!
